BALLET  BASICS (ages 5-6 yrs)

In our Ballet Basics classes, the young students learn and experience how to use their legs and arms and bodies as instruments to move to music and dance. Apart from learning basic ballet technique and steps, they also improve their flexibility, strength, balance and coordination. They also learn to be creative and in the process become more confident. They learn to socialize and follow instructions and new friendships are formed.

PRE-PRIMARY (ages 6-7 yrs)

For this level, a carefully structured syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance, which is fun and safe, is used, enabling students to progress in stages. Pre-Primary ballet students may want to dance only for fun and exercise, but doing exams is an option. This is a more structured and disciplined ballet class. Listening skills are developed and these young dancers are encouraged to follow instructions. They learn to work as individuals and in groups, and they develop  coordination, good posture, strength and suppleness.
